Widgets are also very important in life of every Android. You would definitely like to beautify your home-screen with the weather information, internet traffic count or something like that. And here it comes: whether you want to display the time, date, temperature, weather or battery percentage on your screen you can do it so easily with Minimalistic Text. This application-slash-widget allows you to display 11 different informative things on your home-screen in text fort. As you can see on the image, everything is pretty simple but yet – functional and original. Also, you can change text size, color and a lot of other things just on the go. The best thing about this app is that it is totally free and has no ads popping up all the time. What concerns the battery life… well, let just say that it is not that “hungry” as I thought it would be. Or maybe that was device’s Wi-Fi module that made the battery so dead in a very short time.

If you have any problems, write me an email!

APP2SD (especially hacks) is a very very bad idea for a widget. It has a reason that Minimalistic Text doesn't offer this feature! The home screen get's loaded before the SD card is mounted. Keep this in mind!

Please don't use the comments for feature requests or bugs. You can write me an email (develmil@googlemail.com). (Of course you still can rate lower due to bugs or missing features)

Tasker integration:
1) add a Locale variable to your layout and set the variable name (click it)
2) in Tasker select Plugins -> Minimalistic Text for an action
